In he comes, every day, strutting across the lawn as if it is his own domain. Which he probably thinks it is, going by the amount of seed I put out for him!
Primroses peep from corners, surrounded by Pulmonaria with its lovely blue-purple flowers.
One lone Tulip, the first to bloom. There will be others very soon.
A cushion of palest pink Primroses. They are so delicate, and each plant of pink is a different shade.
And one beautifully scented flower on a new Daphne. She is called Daphne 'Perfume Princess,' and has very large flowers with an incredible perfume.
I can't resist another Primrose picture. They give so much pleasure, and gathered together in a little bunch are sweetly scented. I picked a handful for my room.
Spring is on its way.

how very pretty especially the Daphne and what an unusual garden visitor :) probably stealing all the worms. My tulips are so slow I had all but given up but today I noticed promising buds amongst the leaves. I noticed on my walk today the birds were very noisy and full of song and saw a large crow collecting someones woodchip for his nest - spring is sprung, nearly :)

Your spring flowers are so very pretty. They are on their way here, too. I've never thought of picking primroses - they would make a sweet bouquet.

Your flowers are so pretty. It will be a few weeks before we see Primroses but it will go quickly. I hope my Primula veris made it through the winter. When I was growing up we called them Cowslips.

When we were living in Suffolk we watched a pair fighting in our front garden, they decimated my primroses and the winner proceeded to prance all over the rest of my flower bed and trampled the plants to bits.. if I'd had a gun we'd have had pheasant pie for tea!!
