Tucked away behind the greenhouse is a little corner that is not for show. It's a place where old plantpots hide, and weeds thrive.
But there is something very sweet about this corner. Foxgloves have risen from nowhere. Ivy clambers up the old wooden fence. There are Campions and Herb Roberts, lovely wild flowers.
Even a messy little corner can give pleasure.

Every garden should have a 'wild' corner where flowers can spring up in a slightly uncontrolled manner. I like yours.
I love foxgloves. My gran said the name came from Folk's Gloves - because the fairy folk used them to make gloves to warm their tiny hands!

I love your corner of wildflower, it's surprising how quickly they move in and how little they need - our neighbour has herb robert clambering along beside our driveway, I'm hoping they leave it there. I planted borage and valerian in the garden.

Oh, it's lovely!!! I had a little "corner" like this in VA where I discovered a plant that decided to thrive in hiding. :) I brought it to NC with me and it is doing okay but I think it misses its hidey hole. LOL

Little corners of our gardens are beautiful places with sometimes forgotten flowers like I have in Spring with daffodils or foxgloves flourishing in summer poppies brought by the birds.

Life isn't perfect so we relish those moments in imperfect places to give us comfort and peace. Your little corner is just that.
The foxgloves are lovely. I have lots and they are quite happy to self seed and pop up again in new places next year. I'm sure there are lots of tiny creatures that really appreciate your little corner.
