Yesterday my husband's ashes were laid to rest in theis beautiful woodland area, which is part of the grounds of our local Crematorium. In the Spring it will be full of primroses, bluebells and other wild flowers.
We spent many hours walking in woodlands, particularly in France, and I think he would have loved this.
Now, onward, slowly and carefully, into a new and different life.

God be with you in the days ahead. Happy memories of Malcolm - May he rest in peace and rise in glory
Continuing to pray for you, Barbara.
How lovely. May our Lord strengthen and guide you in the coming days.
Blessings, Linda
Dear Barbara,
That sounds like a good place. Wishing you all the best, strength, love and comfort in this new episode of your life. Love and hugs, Carolien
Such a beautiful place for Malcolm's eternal rest. May you walk here in spring among the flowers, and at every other season when Nature will keep it looking lovely in its natural way.
Barbara dear, we think of you so often and next time we come home we hope to catch up with you again for another of those fun days together. Stay well, warm and safe as the winter months arrive.
Our love Mary & Bob.
That's such a peaceful, beautiful place to rest until Judgment Day. Thinking of you as you move forward through this new life.
Praying for you as you navigate life on this earth without Malcolm. Thank you for the prayers you prayed for my Greg after his stroke. It was a comfort. May God comfort you as you have comforted others, especially your constant care for your dear husband.
Beautiful
Still praying dear one 🙏 ❤️
A beautiful spot to wander and remember, and give thanks. You continue in my prayers. Slowly, slowly move forward.
May he rest in peace. It is a beautiful place. Hugs to you from Georgia, USA. x
That is a beautiful location. God bless you and keep you as you move forward.
That is a lovely spot. Blessings as you move forward.
My prayers continue as you walk this new path . . .
What a beautiful spot to rest in quiet peace, dear Barbara. ( ( ( heart hugs ) ) )
I hope you feel peace in the woodland, Barbara, a lovely environment in which to remember him. Blessings for each and every new day x
What a lovely final resting place. Take each day as it comes, cry if you need to, shout, do whatever you need to do. The days will get not easier, but more bearable.
God bless.
A beautiful place for your husband to be laid to rest. God bless you today and each day forward x
That is a very peaceful place to rest. I always think funerals are for the living, rather than for those who have passed on - it's our closure, our need to say farewell for now, so we can move on to a new and different life - blessings to you for a new and uncertain future which I hope will be filled with happiness despite your loss xxx
A lovely Cornish beauty spot for Malcolm to be laid to rest. In the Spring, it will be even more beautiful and colourful. Hopefully you will be able to visit and think and remember and talk to him. Much love - Rosemary xx
Oh, Elizabeth. Hug. 🌸
