Months ago, I told you about transforming my garden shed, making it into a little studio where I could sew and paint. There has been something of a hiatus due to more important things in life, but at last it is finished and very usable. Insulated and lined, painted and with new flooring, it's really a little playhouse!
My sewing machine is in situ, together with units containing far too much fabric.
There is electricity, and I am only a step or two from the house. Just outside there is a friendly Clematis which has drifted from the apple tree to a Bay tree.
It's an ideal place for a tea party , said a little friend of mine!

I can’t wait to see what you get up to in your new abode and to see your fabrics! I used to sell vintage fabrics at the vintage fairs and am a bit of a fabric lover! I still sell on eBay but I don’t have the same amount of stock that I once had.

Such a pretty space for sewing up all those bins of fabrics. A place for everything and everything in its place. With the garden just a step away, it's the perfect little getaway spot.

I am so happy for you, it's going to be a place that brings you so much pleasure. Now you can work on a project and leave it all scattered about until you're finished with it. Just shut the door and go home and when you return it's all there waiting for you. That is such a good feeling and it makes projects so much more enjoyable.
