It's a very quiet weekend. My husband is recovering from another short hospital stay, again, during the week. It was time for me to do something creative.
I have a collection of lace, ribbons and decorative items, so decided to find some plain white bags to decorate for Easter.
I thought they would be fun filled with yellow tissue paper and maybe an egg or two?
I simply layered different ribbons,
from the base of the bag upwards,
finishing off with the charming little rows of flowers and ducks.
It passed an afternoon away very happily.
I may make more.

that's a lovely idea - very pretty. I have seen coloured shredded paper in pink or yellow in Poundland (for a pound of course!) that would look so pretty in your bags with eggs tucked in. Hope your husband will be home soon. Betty

These are so very pretty. Hope your other half is more comfortable soon. We have lovely snowdrops in our garden here- which always remind me of you. I hope they are blooming in Cornwall too. love and blessings x

The bag is very pretty, and I imagine that the project must have been satisfying on several levels. It's good to indulge one's creative side when things are challenging - it takes one completely away.
