I spent some time this morning looking out of the kitchen window whilst doing all the 'chores'.
Wishing for 'just five minutes' in the sun on that chair.
And after the ironing, the lunch preparation, the Care elements of my day....I got there!
A cup of tea in one hand, phone in the other (just in case).
A blackbird was chittering away in the apple tree above. Two little goldfinch argued over the feeders.
Traffic went by, not noisily except for the agricultural machines.
I can't see them as our fence is high, but I do hear them, and of course the noise levels have changed in the past couple of weeks.
Best of all was the huge furry Bumble bee, and of course my camera was no where near me. He was working hard pushing his way in and out of the snapdragons. His fluffy bottom wriggled its way back out again. It reminded me of Winnie the Pooh getting stuck in Rabbit's front door.
I wish I remembered the name of this exotic Clematis.
It's doing rather well on the back fence.
And this is the sky overhead at 9.30 pm the other night. A ribbon of crimson.

What a lovely garden you have! Beautiful sunset you have shared here also. Thank you.
Your garden is very lovely; what beautiful flowers and colors! I'm glad you managed to spend some time out there and share it all with us. Your bumblebee description made me smile. I can just picture it.
Lovely that you took the time to sit out on your comfy chair and enjoy the birds and your beautiful flowers. That Clematis is pretty but I don't know either which one it could be. I always seem to lose the original tags.
I love the colour combination of the snaps and dahlia. Glad you got to sit down and enjoy your beautiful garden.
You have a simply gorgeous garden. I would spend as much time in that chair as I could.
Just lovely! Beautiful clematis. Glad you got to spend some much needed time on that comfy lounger in the middle of your wonderful garden.
Happy that you could eventually get to your garden respite. Everything looks so pretty and colorful. A nice oasis...
I am so very glad you got there and saw such beauty and the description of the bee is just perfect. 💗💗💗 still praying for you and your Husband 💗🕯🙏💗
I also care for my husband and it takes it's toll so I understand.
Your garden is a picture and must take time to keep it that way.
Thank you for beautiful pictures to start my day.

So glad you got your 5 minutes - time to just sit and contemplate is as necessary as breathing to each of us isn't it?
Beautiful chair, and photos
Good for you - you did it♥
Your garden is lovely and peaceful. Glad you got sometime in that cushioned chair!
Those few moments were precious ones and you made the most of them. I smiled at the picture of the fuzzy bumble bee compared to Winnie-the-Pooh. Most apt. Have a wonderful week, Barbara.
Very lovely
Sheer paradise. How blessed you are. Thank you for the breathtaking pictures. For now, I must garden in my dreams. But in my dreams, my garden looks a lot like this!
Your garden looks very restful. Enjoy.
God bless.
Barbara, oh what a glorious 5 minutes it was! Thank you for reminding me to take that little time and just soak in God's goodness! xo
