A prickly visitor.

As I gazed out of my  husband's window last night, a little visitor scuttled across the lawn. I had suspected that there was a  Hedgehog around, and there he was. It's a poor photo, taken in haste through a window as dusk was settling in.

With a visiting army of Carers, District nurses and Doctors, we go on from day to day, appreciating any special moments.

Again I thank you for your kind messages.

I hope that Malcolm is gradually improving in health now and that you can manage some time in your lovely garden while he is being attended to; you do need to look after yourself as well. Love & very best wishes to both of you, Barbara. xx

A sweet hedgehog will cheer up the down days I'm sure - I miss having them here and always recall the one who lived in my childhood garden for many years.
Hoping so much that M is doing better - his carers seem on the ball coming and going to help him, and giving you assistance also I'm sure.
Good wishes and love coming from both Bob and me - we are thinking of you dear Barbara xx

I once followed a woman, Rosie, in England who did hedgehog rescue. She doesn't keep up with her writing now, but I so enjoyed learning about the little creatures. I would imagine that you were quite surprised to see one scurry through your garden. I've drifted away from the Garden Spot, but you are on my mind often. I hope to do a better job of keeping up with old friends. I pray that you stay well and strong.

Dear Barbara, for two weeks you've been in my prayers because you've been on my mind. I'm no tech so not sure if this note will go through; just know you are remembered daily...until God says fini. love and prayers to you both. Sandra

Little patches of colour

Despite the drought and the effect it has had on gardens, there is still some colour around. I have a dry brownish lawn but in the flower ...
