I wait eagerly for this each year.
I planted the tree three years ago and every year the blossom seems more profuse. It reminds me of childhood, sitting under cherry trees with a little friend, our dolls beside us, making 'tea and desserts' with cherry petals!

Oh I am so jealous. I have a weeping cherry in my front garden but this year's weird weather has caused it to flower for only a couple of days.
Absolutely gorgeous! At my former home I had two crabapple trees with beautiful pink blossoms like these but not at our new home. I need to plant one!

Our Spring finally arrives. Snow is melted and the days are warmer so the earth can now thaw. Which means green shoots shortly.

So lovely. Spring brings so many lovely blossoms. We're enjoying the apple and pear blossoms right now. Lilac is just starting to fell out and the pink dogwood. Blessings!
Your cherry tree is so beautiful!! (We have been enjoying our next door neighbor's cherry tree . . . the next best thing to having our own!)
Those cherry blossoms are so very pretty. They are in bloom here, too. Different varieties bloom at different times and it seems that we have a couple of months where some sort of frilly pink cherry blossoms are blooming.

We really enjoy cherry-blossom viewing (hanami) in Japan, and I enjoyed it in my garden at the end of March. It flowered a week earlier than usual because of a very cold winter followed by much warmer weather of early spring.

Oh, I love Weeping Cherry Trees!!! I have one in my yard in NC but since we moved, I've missed it blossoming. I don't know if one would survive out here in the marsh and brackish water.
Today the weather is horrible in Plymouth - raining hard and blowing a gale. I fear for the plants in our little pots. It feels like Spring will never arrive
