Can you imagine anything more beautifully formed than this rose?
She is very special, brought back from France as a cutting, and obviously enjoying being English.
It looks as though she has a double centre.
Every bloom on this rose is slightly different in colour and shape.
I'm not sure why she is called Orient Express, but it seems like a slightly mysterious name for her.

Oh, this is a beauty! Such colours! And that double centre!
I'm so glad you have such a lovely rose in your garden to enjoy and to remember your life in France.
Happy day to you, Barbara.

Very beautiful, early for roses here although I have a few tight green buds on a few of mine, not expecting anything this spectacular though!
She is a beauty, full of intricate design and such rich colour. What a great remembrance of your time in France. Today is Mother's Day here in Canada, so I'll take the opportunity to wish you a very happy day. The sun is shining gloriously here. We've just finished our online church service, and I'm heading out to work in the garden.
Glad she has settled in to English life - she is beautiul. We brought back a hydrangea as it was such a fabulous deep blue but it has bloomed a deep pink here no matter what we do and some foxglove seeds which now happily seed themselve around the gardenand remind us of France.
I looked this up and discovered it is sometimes called "Orient Express Love&Peace" which is interesting (trademarked with "&" not "and") It is a delightful bloom and must have such happy associations with your time in France. This afternoon I found a bouquet of scented yellow roses,in the porch, along with a handmade card, from our 8yr old neighbour - sharing in our happiness at the birth of our grandson. People are very kind!
She is definitely thriving in England! Beautiful.
Exquisite! Roses bring joy, comfort peace, hope...there is nothing like them. Thanks so much for sharing.
Gorgeous! Does it have a lovely scent?
It's Mother's Day here also, so I'll wish you a joyous day...
That rose is delightful both in colour and also in shape. So many petals!! I'm glad it is doing so well for you.
Stunning both in colour and shape, a real delight.
That's an absolutely beautiful rose!

Stunning! And nice to have a beautiful bloom inside to cheer you!
Beautiful!
What a gorgeous rose. I love the colours.
God bless.
Beautiful rose - and love your china and little clock!
Have a good week. Stay well dear friend.

She's beautiful and such a striking color! I bought a new rose but it's just a double knock out, no particular name. She's sort of a fuschia red. Very pretty and I hope she survives my meager attempts at gardening. :-)
